I'm an art historian working on American landscape painting. I am currently working on the manuscript of a book entitled Nuits Américaines which focuses on American nocturne paintings (James McNeill Whistler and his followers if you're curious). I also translate books from English to French, mostly in art history and philosophy.
Why coworking?
Research and translation can be very lonely, and I'm too sociable to spend all my days alone with my computer. I find that working in an open space shared with other people, no matter what their activity is, I end up being much more productive than if I were on my own.
